We are delighted to invite you to the forthcoming 2016 Regional Assembly of Europe of the CICT-COCTI, which will take place March 2-3, 2016, in Lviv (Ukraine), at the Ukrainian Catholic University, on the topic: "Unity in Diversity: Ecumenical Challenges for East and West".
Programme of CICT-COCTI Meeting - Conferences of the RegionalAssembly of Europe
1. Wednesday 2 March
Morning: arrival of participants to Lviv (the airport pick up provided for all the participants)
Afternoon: Tour of the campus of the Ukrainian Catholic University;
Presentation of our institutions;
City tour of Lviv
Evening: Dinner in a restaurant in Lviv
2. Thursday 3 March
Morning: Conferences and workshops
Lunch at the Faculty of Theology dining hall
Afternoon: Conferences and workshops
Discussions about “Cultures of our Young Generations and Teaching Theology in our Institutions”.
After the Regional Assembly of Europe of the CICT-COCTI, on the 4th of March the Ukrainian section of the ESCT (European Society for Catholic Theology) will organise a symposium: “Churches in Peacebuilding: Ecumenical Engagement for Peace and Reconciliation”.

3. Friday 4 March
Keynote speakers from Ukraine, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, USA.
The main sessions of the symposium consist of:
— War and Peace: international perspectives on peace-building and reconciliation
— Theological and Spiritual Resources for a Culture of Peace: Purification of memories
— Christian Churches contributing to a culture of Peace and Ecumenism
— Identity, Otherness and Reconciliation: Political/Public Theology
